We are Jan de Gier and Wilma van der Meer and since 1992 breeders of the Shiba.

Our Shibas excels in beauty, health and temperment. With 10 World, 3 Europian and over 30 national homebred champions we are extremly proud of these accomplishments.

Our KOKI ( Mara-shimas Koki’s Kime Waza) was TOPDOG OF THE YEAR ALL BREEDS in 2007 in The Netherlands and BEST IN SHOW 2008 at our topdog of the yearshow. We went with Koki to USA in 2008 to represent our country with the Eukanuba Worldchallenge Trofee in Long Beach California. This was a fantastic event and an unforgetable experience. Koki has won more than 15 BOG and 12 BEST IN SHOWS.

This is something you dream of as a breeder and Koki made our dreams come true!! Even as a veteran he make us proud to become topshiba 2013 in Sweden and went with the Swedisch winnershow ‘15 in Stockholm out of an entry of 42 Shibas BOB and this at the tender age of 11 years old!

Ofcourse we don’t forget our KATAI  ( Mara-shimas Ichi Kana Yuushi) who is also setting records with over 10 championtitles in Europe + Junior worldwinner 2009 and became topshiba in Sweden 2012. Both Koki and Katai are living their great lives by Elisabeth Noven in Sweden.

Our MIO ( Mara-shimas Kei Mikata), grandson of Katai and great grandson of Koki is already multi champion with several groupwins and 2 x BEST IN SHOW. His mother MIKI ( Mara-shimas Miki Musou)  has won 7 champion titles and group placements.

HASHA ( Mara-shimas Hasha Go ) & AKA ( Mara-shimas Akiakane Go ), brother and sister and children of MIO are doing fantastic as well. Hasha came back to us 10-10’15 and with our show in Bleiswijk (NL) he took BOB + 1BIG, next day BOB + 2BIG and took BOB and new title of WINNER ’15 with our winnershow in Amsterdam. AKA became Dutch junior champion ’15, Benelux junior-nl champion ’15 and on top of that JUNIOR WORLDWINNER 2015 + BEST FEMALE with an entry of 155 Shibas at the WORLDDOGSHOW in Milano (I) 13th June 2015

We have high hopes for our latest imports from Japan. KENI ( Kensei No Fukuaoi Go Sapporo Kagasou), already multi champion and 3 times 1BIG. KIRA ( Choufume Go Shirakayasou) Multi champion, EUROPIAN WINNER ’14 & BOB and took BISS + CLUBWINNER’15. BONO ( Akafukuryuu Go Saitama Katou) who has already CACIB’s in Holland, Germany and Luxembourg & the great KANSEIKEN/NIPPO CHAMPION KUROICHI ( Toyo No Kuroichi Go Hikino KOurakusou), he became in 3 shows DUTCH CHAMPION, Bundessieger’15 and CLUBWINNER’15

From time to time we import excellent Shibas from Japan to refresh our lines and to get a stronger bloodline. Our Shibas are always tested on hips, eyes and knees before breeding and all have that outgoing, happy, social, stubborn temperment we strive for..:-))
